How can you donate to your regional exercise trail?
The Friends of the Pacific Electric Trail, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer community advocacy organization that supports enhancements to your 21-mile Regional Pacific Electric Trail. The PE Trail is referred to as the "Jewel of the Inland Empire" which traverses 5 cities along the foothills from Montclair to Rialto.
Your donations help support trail enhancements and improvements that are beyond each city's general cleaning and maintenance budget. Trail enhancements include but are not limited to things such as shade structures, rest areas, water stations, safety initiatives, public restrooms, and much more, all with the goal to enhance the experience on the trail.
The current major enhancement initiative is the restoration of the Historic Etiwanda Depot as a new trailhead access and rest area that encompasses a lot of the features described above. Your donation will help build the public restroom, parking lot, water station, and tail access on the east side of Rancho Cucamonga. Many ideas for the use of the Etiwanda Depot are to provide a place to feature local area artists, a community garden, a refreshment and vending area, a museum, bike lockers and rentals, all to create a place to create an active and healthy community.
Your support is tax deductible! Our Tax ID is #83-0415924.
