What is the Pacific Electric Challenge?
The Pacific Electric Challenge (formerly Cucamonga Challenge) is an annual run-bike event open to all ages and skill levels sponsored by the Friends of the Pacific Electric Trail to promote family, fun, and fitness. Why the Name Change? Since we are the Friends of the Pacific Electric Trail, we wanted the event name to match the 21-mile Pacific Electric Regional Trail. The Challenge The CHALLENGE is a year-round personal fitness goal to "Challenge Yourself" to do something new, different, or stretch yourself in manageable increments to achieve your personal fitness goals. Your Challenge can be anything from 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year time period.... and culminates with the annual Pacific Electric Challenge. 2019 marks the 14th annual spring event taking place on the Pacific Electric Trail (P.E.Trail), a multi-purpose regional rail-trail path created from an abandoned railroad corridor. Each participant chooses one (1) event:
The 5K & 10K will be on the P.E. Trail while the cycling events start on the P.E. Trail and continues onto the city streets. The streets are not blocked off and all riders must obey ALL traffic laws. Helmets required. Questions?? Email Us

** PLEASE NOTE: Enter Central Park from Milliken Ave. ** Registration will be located near the green shade pavilion closest to Milliken Ave. From the 210 Freeway Exit on Milliken Avenue and go south. Make a right on Central Park Drive from Milliken Ave. Base Line Road. The community center is on the right side. From the 10 Freeway Exit on Milliken Avenue and go north. Go past Base Line and make first left on Central Park Drive (enter from Milliken). From the 15 Freeway Exit on Base Line Road and go west.
