Trail Enhancement Program

The Friends of the Pacific Electric Trail 501(c)(3) organization, with the help of generous sponsors such as REI and Falken Tire, have raised and contributed over $70,000.00 to the city of Rancho Cucamonga and trail amenities.
Individuals or businesses can contribute a tax deductible donation for amenities at trailheads in Rancho Cucamonga such as:
> Benches
> Water Fountains
> Bike Racks
> Trees
> Dog Stations
> Landscaping
> etc.
The Rancho Cucamonga section of the P.E. Trail is 7 miles long, bordered by the city of Fontana on the eastern edge and the city of Upland on the western edge. The P.E. Trail spans 21 miles in 5 cities from Montclair to Rialto. The concrete bike path is intended for pedestrians and bicyclists while the softer gravel surface is designed for walkers, runners, and equestrian riders.

This trail contains lighting for safety and several access points for convenient access to the trail such as Central Park, Amethyst Ave, and the Route 66 Trailhead to name a few. The P.E. Trail through Rancho Cucamonga is the jewel of the Inland Empire. With the support of generous sponsors we will continue to contribute trail amenities for the community to enjoy.
